Rear Panel Conections

1. Connect the TP cable from the MTP

transmitter to the RJ-45 input connector.

2. Connect a display device to the video output

connectors as follows:

15-pin HD for RGB (RGB)

3 BNC’s for component video (R-Y,Y, B-Y)

4-pin mini DIN for S-video (Y/C)

Single BNC for composite video (Vid)

3. Connect a display device to the upper 5-pin

captive screw connector for RS-232 control.

4. Connect an audio device to the lower audio

output 5-pin captive screw connector.

5. Connect the power supply.

Front Panel Operation

Power LED — Lights green when power is present.

Audio and RS-232 LEDs — The MTP U R RSA SEQ auto detects

an audio or RS-232 signal on the TP cable from the transmitter.

The corresponding LED lights green according to signal present.

Signal LEDs — The MTP U R RSA SEQ auto detects the input

signal type (video, Y/C, YUV, or RGB) carried on the cable from

the transmitter. The corresponding LED lights green according to signal type present.

Skew Equalization — To compensate for skew (signal delay) caused by different cable lengths,

press the recessed button to select the red, green, or blue signal.

The corresponding LED lights. Adjust the knob until the signal is equalized. Repeat as needed.

Level, Peaking — Adjust the Level knob for brightness and the Peaking knob for sharpness.
