Mounting the SCS 300 under a deskesk

To mount the SCS 300 under a desk or in a podium using the

under desk mounting kit (Extron part # 70-077-01, MBU 125),

do the following:

1. Attach the mounting brackets to the SCS 300 using the

four machine screws supplied with the mounting kit

as shown in ﬁgure 2-3.

2. Holding the device up against the underside of the surface

to which you are mounting it, mark the four screw holes.

3. Drill four pilot holes, each 3/32" (2 mm) in diameter by

1/4" (6.4 mm) deep, where marked on the template.

4. Using the four supplied wood screws, attach the brackets

under the mounting surface (see ﬁgure 2-3).

5. When the SCS 300 is mounted, continue the installation by

connecting the input, output, and power cables.
